Through a partnership with the National Park Service and the City of Visalia, Sequoia Shuttle was developed as a way to cut down on congestion and pollution in Sequoia National Park. We began working with Visalia Transit following their 2-year beta test, to create more awareness and ultimately reservations.
With an understanding of tourism marketing and public transportation, two categories that don’t normally cross-pollinate, the marketing infrastructure was crucial to the success of the Shuttle.
While in its third year of operation, Archer & Hound jumped into the game and completely revamped the marketing plan—and in doing so, saw positive results immediately. Online reservations, trip planning itineraries, group sales and media ambassadors were all part of our initial and continual plan.
